We offer puppy introduction sessions to help your furry friend become familiar with the sights, smells, sounds, and sensations of a dog grooming salon. 

Designed for puppies between 12 weeks (after vaccinations) and six months old, these sessions focus on building a trust-based relationship, where your puppy’s comfort and well-being are our top priorities. Each grooming session is tailored to gently introduce your puppy to the grooming experience, ensuring they feel safe and relaxed.

We space appointments every two weeks, allowing for a gradual, stress-free exposure to grooming. This careful pace helps avoid overwhelming your pup, fostering a positive experience that can lead to a lifetime of calm, comfortable grooming as they grow.

At the end of the these sessions, your pup will receive a gift bag  and  their 'First Groom Certificate'.

Session One:  Getting to know each other (20 - 30 mins)

On your puppy’s first visit to our grooming salon, our goal is to create a calm and welcoming environment where we can get to know both you and your furry friend. Our groomers will gently introduce your puppy to the sights, sounds, and scents of the salon, helping them feel safe and at ease. They’ll have the chance to play and experience gentle handling, making grooming a positive and enjoyable process. Feel free to stay, relax, and enjoy a cup of tea while your puppy settles in!

Session Two:  (60 - 90 mins)

Just like in the first session, we’ll keep helping your puppy feel comfortable with the sounds and sensations of the grooming salon. This time, they’ll enjoy a gentle wash and blow-dry, and we’ll gradually introduce light scissoring and clipping, ear cleaning and  nail trims if needed. Each step is done with care to ensure your pup feels safe and relaxed throughout the process.

Session Three : (90 - 120 mins)

In the final session, your puppy will enjoy a complete grooming experience, including a bath, blow-dry, brush, face trim, nail trim, ear cleaning, and a coat trim or clip. By now, your pup will be familiar with the different grooming sensations and ready to confidently transition to our adult grooming packages.

Please note that we encourage all puppies under 6 months of age to complete our puppy sessions prior to a full groom. This allows your puppy to be introduced properly to grooming in a safe way. 

Timings may vary depending on individual puppy.

 Some puppies may benefit from continuing puppy sessions for a bit longer.
