We’re excited to offer puppy introduction sessions designed to help your little one become familiar with the sights, smells, sounds, and sensations of a dog grooming salon.

We highly recommend that all puppies under six months complete these sessions before their first full groom. This gradual approach ensures a positive and safe introduction to grooming. Perfect for puppies aged 12 weeks (post-vaccinations) to six months, these sessions are all about creating a gentle, trust based foundation, prioritising your puppy’s comfort and wellbeing every step of the way.

Our approach involves gradual, stress free exposure to grooming, with appointments spaced every week or two. This pacing ensures your pup feels safe and relaxed, building a positive association with grooming. We also provide advice and support to help reinforce grooming routines at home, ensuring your puppy remains comfortable and builds confidence between sessions.

Step One: Getting to Know Each Other (20–30 minutes)

During their first visit, we’ll focus on making your puppy feel calm and welcome. Our groomers will gently introduce them to the salon environment, offering plenty of playtime and light handling to create a positive experience.

You’re welcome to stay, relax, and enjoy a cup of tea while your puppy explores and gets comfortable!

 Step Two: Building Confidence (60–90 minutes)

In this session, we continue to help your puppy feel at ease with the sounds, sensations, and routines of the grooming salon. Your pup will enjoy a gentle wash and blow dry, with gradual introductions to light scissoring, clipping, ear cleaning, and nail trimming if required. Every step is handled with the utmost care to ensure your puppy feels safe, calm, and relaxed throughout.

Step Three: The Full Grooming Experience (90–120 minutes)

The final session is all about giving your puppy a complete grooming experience! This includes a bath, blow dry, brushing, face trim, nail trim, ear cleaning, and a coat trim or clip. By this stage, your puppy will be comfortable with the grooming process and ready to transition confidently into our adult grooming sessions.

Our puppy grooming sessions are £60.00.

 Depending on your puppy’s individual needs, we may recommend repeating steps to help your puppy build confidence and ensure they feel happy before moving forward. 

Each additional session for this will incur a £10.00 charge.
